Holy Family will commemorate World day of the Sick on Feb. 11 with an array of special preaching, communal anointing and other activities at selected Masses.
We welcome Paulist Father John Ardis, who will preside and preach at our 4:30pm Saturday Mass at Sacred Heart, the 8:00am Sunday Mass at St. Ladislaus, and the 10am Sunday bilingual Mass at Sacred Heart. Father Ardis has had some recent medical events in his life that will empower his preaching.
On Feb. 11, we will also be very happy to briefly welcome Maronite Eparch Gregory J. Mansour from the Eparchy of St. Maron of Brooklyn. Bishop Mansour will bless our new image and statue of St. Sharbel, the Hermit of Lebanon, whose intercession is credited with healings to this day.
We will honor longtime hospital chaplain Fr. Pauly Thekkan.
